Reviews

  • Barry Frink did a great job, he picked a price point that was easy to market to, gave suggestions on how to stage and even provided extra personal attention when needed.....such as repainting a room and even helping remove wallpaper from another. This extra step shows the quality and commitment Barry has for his clients! - Sherry Sullivan
  • I will recommend Brooke and Barry to anyone I know looking for a home. We had an amazing experience from our first phone call to the very end. We never had to worry about a thing, Brooke was extremely quick and knowledgeable and made us feel very informed and taken care of. She guided us through every step and made sure we really understood what we were signing and agreeing to. She is also very detail oriented. As we walked through houses she made sure to check the details we didn't immediately think of to ensure we knew exactly what each house had to offer. The entire process took us approximately 90 days which we would never have imagined. We also had the pleasure of working with Barry Frink during negotiations and he was just as wonderful as his business partner. He really understood what we wanted to gain and did everything in his power to execute for us, and we got exactly what we hoped for. They're also not afraid to give you their opinions as professionals, and respect whatever decisions you end up making in the end. I can't wait for the day we decide to grow our family further and need to sell our current home and move into a new one. Brooke and Barry will be the first people we call. - Theresa Wilson, Cedar Rapids
  • Barry exuded professionalism and knowledge of the market that helped us sell quickly and easily. He kept us informed and handled all the details with care. We recommend him highly and it was a pleasure to work with him as both buyers and sellers. - Sara Reasner
  • Brooke did such an awesome job in helping me find the type of home I was looking for ! There were a few hoops along the way that we had to clear in order to get to the type of home I wanted and I truly believe Brooke had my best interests in mind through the whole process. I would have no hesitation recommending her to friends or family ! I had trust in her and she did not disappoint !! Jeff Ernst - Jeff Ernst Anamosa IA
  • Brooke Zrudsky and Barry Frink met with us after we had met with several other realtors and impressed us both with their professionalism and with their interest in working with us as opposed to trying to force us into a plan that they'd already established. My wife and I had only bought one house before this experience and it hadn't been the best of experiences. In contrast, Brooke and Barry walked us through the cycle of buying and selling a home and helped ease concerns, manage expectations, and calm nerves. I would go out of my way to recommend them to friends, colleagues, and total strangers. - Josh Scholl, Cedar Rapids
  • No matter what questions or issues I had, I never hesitated to contact Brooke because I knew she'd find the answer or solve the problem quickly. - Eric Papke, Marion
  • During my military career, we moved a dozen times, and Brooke is without a doubt the best real estate agent we have ever used. She was so attentive to our needs and showed us a number of great housing options; however, she went well beyond this basic service. She helped us with numerous details that significantly eased our transition to Iowa. She was more than a great agent — she was a great friend. We can not give a higher recommendation. - Raegan Echols, Marion Iowa
  • We chose Brooke because we had witnessed her work ethic and results. We were not disappointed. Brooke was very professional and had a very well thought out strategy on marketing our home. She was very assessable and kept us informed on the process. Pam and I would and have recommended Brooke Zrudsky to our friends - Wes and Pam brackey
  • Brooke really made us feel like we were her only customer. From the moment she picked me up to give me a tour of Cedar Rapids as part of my relocation program, to the signing of the documents and handling everything in-between. We ran into our share of challenges and time constraints and through it all, Brooke remained calm, collected and professional. Her ability to remember details about the 30 properties we visited over 2 days and navigate us without getting lost between properties was truly impressive. Her care and concern for our time and the value of making the right decision based on our needs allowed us to focus on only those properties that meet our family requirements. She has a wonderful talent of listening to our desires and finding those properties that aligned with our needs. Thank you Brooke. - the Jeffrey Family - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • Barry and Brook are the friendliest and most competent and easiest team to work with-bar none. It has been a pleasure and will most likely happen again next year. - Maurene Cable
  • We knew Barry from when we bought our house that we were now selling. We were pleased with his friendly service and so we went to him in the sale of our house and in looking for our condo. Barry is great! - Marilyn Nebel 4461 Quail Trail Dr. Marion, Ia.
  • I reached out to Brooke when my husband and I were looking to purchase our first home. From the very start, I felt no pressure from Brooke or Barry. We had our initial meeting with Brooke and Barry, and we really appreciated that time to get to know one another. We felt like it provided a great start to the process. Brooke was very accessible to us, and even offered to show us houses separately, since we had conflicting work schedules. We were very impressed by her immediate availability to show us new houses, especially with as quickly as the market seems to be moving. We asked lots of questions throughout the process, sometimes repeating ourselves, and Brooke answered them with ease and took the time to look up additional information for us on several occasions. We truly felt that Brooke had our best interests at heart and felt no pressure to settle for anything less than what we envisioned. Even after closing on our house, Brooke has been happy to help us with some additional questions in getting adjusted to home ownership. We have already recommended Brooke and the team to friends and will continue to do so. We could not have asked for a better home buying experience and actually enjoyed what we expected to be a stressful process! - Emily and Joshua Teeter, Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Outstanding overall experience! We had total faith in what Brooke Zrudsky said and planned. She delivered big time!! Her honesty, attention to detail and willingness to answer endless questions are remarkable. Thank you Brooke for "holding my hand" during an extremely stressful time. - Vanessa Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Introduced as part of employers Ambassador program. Brooke has been fantastic from day 1. She works extremely hard, has great knowledge and attention to detail, and understands exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't be happier with her work!!! - Jim Ubben, Marion, Iowa
  • Brooke was excellent to work with. We had been working with her to find a new house while trying to sell ours for sale by owner. Our FSBO plans did not work out, however, the house we found was FSBO. We ended up switching and having her sell our house and pursued the purchase of our new home FSBO. Before we even had our pictures uploaded online she had our house sold. She was very patient with use throughout the entire process as we looked at what seemed like every house on the market. When it came time for negotiations she helped us quite a bit and guided us in ways that we wouldn't have expected. We would definitely recommend her to any of our friends or family that are in need of a new home, either buying or selling. - Tom Wiersema, Lisbon, IA
  • Brooke is a great seller and negotiator! Keep up the good job, we like her a lot and we decided to work with her a second time because of previous sales went excellent! - Brian and Esther, Cedar Rapids Iowa
  • My wife and I felt Brooke Zrudsky went above and beyond the norm in handling all aspects of the sale of our home! During the closing process we were traveling and while we were gone Brooke Zrudsky coordinated all the details flawlessly including keeping watch over our home! Thank You! - Bradley Butikofer, Marion IA
  • When looking for a house, Barry listened very well to what we were looking for and showed only the places he thought we would be interested in. Barry made us feel comfortable right away and we felt we were dealing with a friend who had our best interest at heart. Barry took the stress off our shoulders when we sold our house and handled everything for us. We will recommend Barry to anyone in the market buying or selling their home. - Jackie Imhoff Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • Brooke is very good at her job. Pleasant, professional, kind, considerate and has your best interests in mind. Brooke not only has sold our old house, but helped us purchase our new home. Currently she is selling my parents home. Brooke and Barry are both great with making decisions on what to do or not to do when getting your house on the market. Brooke helps make selling and buying your home seem easy. She always answers your questions in a timely manner. Brooke is great with keeping you updated from start to finish. Will ONLY recommend Brooke and Barry to my friends and family. Barry is an awesome person. Wonderful to work with. Upbeat, knowledgeable and by the way great eye for staging your home! She was able to offer insight into the market and thoughts on value of particular houses, while understanding our personal preferences. She was extremely professional, pleasant, and very prompt in responding to questions and requests. We couldn't have asked for a better agent! She exceeded all expectations, and I have made sure to recommend her to family and friends! - Ellen Holmes, Cedar Rapids Iowa

  • What separated Brooke from all the other agents out there was her personality, knowledge, & communication. She was more concerned with finding us the right house for us than making another sale. If I ever have to move again or sell my house, Brooke will be my #1 choice! I would recommend her to anyone!!! - Sarah & Zach, Cedar Rapids
  • Outstanding service and support through the entire buying process. Very prompt, never pushy, highly personable and professional. We have moved several times and have had both good and bad agents in the past. Working with Brooke has been hands down the best experience (on both buying and selling side) and will not go elsewhere. She is very good to work with if you are local and amazing to work with if you are out of state. Knows the area, very helpful, anticipates needs and requires no follow-up. - Kyle S. Linn County, IA

  • I wanted to let you how pleased I am with the service you provided to me and my family when selling our home and purchasing a new one. Words cannot express how much I enjoyed working with you!!! I have worked in customer service for over twenty years and have been a manager for fifteen years, so I am not easily impressed by the service I typically receive. It is a joy to find to find a person who puts their heart and soul into their job the way you do. You took the time to listen to my criteria for the sale of my house and then offered assistance in painting and staging to get it done. Each time I called you, you either answered or returned my call within the hour-- Now that is customer service. You took the time to answer any questions I had and explained anything I was confused about. You are a rare find in an industry that is not always known for outstanding service. They say word of mouth is the best advertisement and I can tell you that every person I talk to knows about Barry Frink!!! The next time I need anything that has to do with selling or buying property, you will be the person I call.   Thank You  Erika Elles

    - Erika
  • Matt and I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank Barry for the outstanding service he provided in preparing, listing and selling our home. Barry exceeded our expectations: he solicited our feedback during every step of the process, provided answers when we needed them and allowed us to play an active role in the sale of our home. He kept us in the loop and took the time to explain our options and what was best for us. Barry's ability to manage listings is a testament to his organizational skills as a realtor. He never dropped the ball, and managed multiple open houses, ultimately increasing our chance for the house to sell quickly. In our case that was a necessity as we were moving out of state, and had already purchased another home. Please know we are very pleased with Barry Frink, not only did we find a great Realtor but a great friend.    Sincerely,   Matt and Kirsten Duggar

The kitchen is important

Many buyers judge housekeeping by the kitchen. Oven, stove and other appliances should be spotless. Repair or replace anything that sticks, squeaks or drips. Counter space should be kept open and uncluttered; store countertop appliances. Floors and walls should be bright and clean.
